Labor Saving Technology

GECCO, Inc. developed the Dropmaster to help the fire protection contractor save time and labor by using this highly advanced tool while making alterations or changing sprinkler heads on a fire sprinkler system. Sprinkler fitters will be amazed that they can change individual sprinkler heads on a finished ceiling in a few minutes. Dropmaster's unique siphoning system aids the fire protection contractor by saving labor during the change out, and shortening clean up time when the change out is complete. It also makes the client happy by eliminating odor and downtime. A win win for the contractor and his client!

Dropmaster technology replaces many old "habits" no more buckets, less plastic spread on the floor and walls, and fitters with clean shirts. Once the Dropmaster is connected and operating it maintains a constant 10" Hg vacuum* on the sprinkler line to which it is attached, when the system is breached as in the removal of a sprinkler head a siphoning effect is created allowing the fitter to replace the head without using a bucket, or creating a mess as a result of a spill. A flexible discharge hose allows for a quick and easy connection to any drain channeling the dirty sprinkler water directly into the drain, thereby helping to keep the work area clean and odor free. The Dropmaster system is a safe cost effective solution for the concerned fire protection contractor.

*Manufacturers of grooved couplings recommend not exceeding 10" Hg vacuum on a sprinkler line. Dropmaster is the only tool that will hold that margin of safety recommended by the grooved coupling manufacturers, ensuring that the 10" Hg vacuum is not exceeded
